Good news for Ayodhya! The Uttar Pradesh government has gifted a major development project to 24 villages in the holy city. The construction of a ring road around the periphery of the Ram Mandir has finally received the green light, According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the final seal for the construction of the NH-27 Four-Lane Widening Bypass (Ring Road) was placed by the government.

It is planned to commence the construction of the Ring Road before this auspicious occasion, In the process of constructing this Ring Road, covering 47.887 hectares of land belonging to 596 farmers from 11 villages in Sohawal tehsil and 14 revenue villages in Sadar tehsil have been acquired. Those raising objections have been given a 21-day period for publication, after which the specific land may be handed over to the Ayodhya authorities.

Villages falling within the scope of the Ring Road The Ring Road will pass through villages such as Katrauli, Maglasi Uparhar, Jagnapur, Rasulpur, Bhitora, Chirra, Hansepur, Bichia, Mau Yaduvanshpur, Sofiyapara, Khanpur, among others, in Sohawal tehsil.

Similarly, villages like Ramdattapur, Atarawa, Rampur Halwara Uparhar, Birauli, Shivdaspur, Bhadokhar, Udarapur, Sukhapur, Itaura, Dadera, Vaising, Samahakhurd, Parakhan, etc., from Sadar tehsil, are included in the land acquisition for the construction of the Ring Road.

Statement from the Deputy Tehsildar Shekhar Shukla, The publication of the notification has been completed. Affected farmers have already received compensation for their land, and the land registry has been completed. The official formalities of the government have also been fulfilled through this publication. Construction is expected to commence soon.
